CONTACT LENS EXAMS
At Clear Vision Eye center, we strive to meet all your eye and vision care needs by providing corrective contact lens evaluations and prescription management. Following a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, we discuss our wide variety of contact lens options with you, to select the type that best fits your vision needs and lifestyle. If you suffer from dry eyes, allergies or recurring eye infections, the Optometrist will advise whether contact lenses are right for you.
Prior to prescribing contact lenses, the optometrist will determine what level of vision correction you require. He will evaluate your eyes for near-sightedness, far-sightedness, or blurred vision,
by measuring how the eyes focus when different lenses are placed in front of you. Our optometrist may use either a refractor or an automated instrument to take these measurements.
Contact lenses need to be changed daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on the type of lens you select. Specialized contact lenses, such as bifocal contact lenses, are also available for patients with special eye conditions.
